Hire Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

A minimum deposit of 20% of the total hire amount must be made within 24 hours of accepting the quote to secure the requested equipment. The equipment will ONLY be allocated to you and held once this 20% is paid.

Payment Options

Pin Payments

Secure online payment portal that will allow you to pay for your deposit or the full amount. This can be done by clicking on the red PAY NOW button on your quote or invoice. All payments made by Pin Payments will incur a 1.8% surcharge.

Card Payment by Phone

Please call 1300 134 493 to make a credit card payment. All credit card payments by Visa and Mastercard will incur a 1.5% surcharge. AMEX will incur a 1.65% surcharge. 

Bank Deposit

Bank deposits incur no surcharges or processing fees.

Hire Terms

Delivery & Return Terms

Deliveries and Pickups

All customers will be allocated a 3-hour delivery and collection window, which will be provided to you the week of your event. All delivery slots are between 9am and 5pm.

Additional fees apply for the following:

  • Requesting a specific day or collection time
  • If delivery or collection is requested outside the 9am to 5pm timeframe
  • If delivery or collection s required on a Sunday or Public Holiday

Loss or Damage Policy

The hirer is liable for any damages to the hired equipment. Damages to products will be assessed on return. Damages will include but are not limited to: discolouration, blown internal components due to misuse, permanent stains, cigarette burns, dents, bends, or visible breakages.

The hirer will be issued an invoice to replace any lost items.

Damage Waiver

The damage waiver is payable by the hirer to cover all costs associated with normal wear and tear to the equipment and any accidental damage to a particular item, provided that the replacement cost and/or cost of repairs does not exceed 10% of the hiring fee for the particular item.

The waiver does not cover damage caused by misuse, loss of equipment, or damage caused by fire, storm, or accident.

Cancellation Policy


If you need to cancel your booking due to circumstances outside of the control of Feel Good Events Hire, you will be subject to the following terms:

  • If you cancel your booking anytime after you have paid your deposit, up to 8 days prior to your event date, your deposit will be forfeited.
  • If you cancel your booking 7 days or less prior to your event date, all paid amounts will be forfeited. 

Booking Cancellations Due to COVID

As changes to restrictions regarding COVID-19 can happen quite quickly, you may have to cancel or postpone your party, wedding, or event. If you need to change the date of your event due to changing restrictions, Feel Good Events Hire will supply a credit only to your booking. Refunds are not possible once payments have been made. There is no expiry on credits.

A 20% deposit is still required to book equipment and services.

We suggest making the balance of your final payment a few days before your event if you are uncertain about restrictions.
